About the Journal

JMKN: Jurnal Media dan Komunikasi Nusantara is a bi-annual journal issued on September and March. It consists of research-based articles in communications.

JMKN: Jurnal Media dan Komunikasi Nusantara has been published since 2024 by PT.Cakrawala Cahaya Aksara. The publisher only accepts an original work, which has not been published elsewhere. The article should be submitted through this site in accordance with our format (see Author Guidelines). Submitted article will be reviewed and edited for format uniformity, term, and other procedures.

JMKN: Jurnal Media dan Komunikasi Nusantara is a journal that focuses on the field of communication studies from the following perspectives:

1. Political communication is communication that uses messages and political actors or is related to power, government, and policy.
2. Cultural and Ethnographic Communication Studies is communication between people of different cultures (e.g., race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status).
3. Public Relations Studies are studies that identify and develop measures of behavioral dimensions important for effective public relations for public relations leadership across organizations.
4. Media and communication is the study of broadcasting, film, newspapers, magazines, and online media (cyber media) as well as human relations.
5. Business communication is the exchange of ideas or opinions, information, and instructions between people (individuals or non-individuals) through various symbols to achieve company goals.
6. Educational communication is the application of in-depth communication learning theories and concepts between teachers and students.
