This study conducts a systematic literature review (SLR) on the role of organizational communication in enhancing employee engagement during digital transformation. The SLR method followed PRISMA 2020 guidelines, searching three databases (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar) for publications from 2018–2025. Of 771 identified articles, 38 met all inclusion criteria after quality assessment. Findings indicate that transparent and adaptive organizational communication positively influences employee engagement. Digital transformation demands changes in organizational communication strategies and culture. The Job Demands Resources and Social Exchange Theory frameworks are most frequently used to explain this relationship. This study recommends integrating communication strategies with digital transformation and developing more comprehensive theoretical frameworks.
