Submissions

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be organized systematically as follows:

• Title: Should succinctly reflect the content and focus of the research.

• Author(s) and Affiliation(s): Include full names without academic titles, followed by institutional affiliations and email addresses.

• Abstract: Provide abstracts in both English and Indonesian, each not exceeding 250 words, summarizing the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

• Keywords: List 3–5 relevant keywords separated by semicolons (;).

• Introduction: Present the research background, problem formulation, objectives, and the significance of the study.

• Methodology: Detail the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques employed.

• Results and Discussion: Describe the findings and interpret them in the context of existing literature, supported by tables, graphs, or figures as necessary.

• Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and their implications.

• Acknowledgments (if applicable): Recognize individuals or institutions that contributed to the research.

• References: List all sources cited in the manuscript, formatted according to the specified citation style.

Formatting Guidelines

Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) with the following specifications:

• Paper Size: A4 (210 x 297 mm).

• Margins: Top 2.5 cm, Bottom 2.5 cm, Left 3 cm, Right 2.5 cm.

• Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt.

• Spacing: Single spacing throughout the document.

• Length: Between 6 to 12 pages, including tables and figures.

• Page Numbers: Placed at the bottom right corner of each page.

Citation and References

Citations and references should adhere to the IEEE style. Authors are encouraged to utilize reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to ensure accuracy and consistency. A minimum of 10 references is required, with at least 60% sourced from recent journal articles published within the last 10 years.

Submission Process

Authors must register and submit their manuscripts through the JURNAL TECHNOS NUSANTAR (JTN) Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Upon submission, authors will receive a confirmation email and can track the progress of their manuscript via their OJS account.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by experts in the relevant field. Authors may be requested to make revisions based on the reviewers' feedback. The final decision regarding acceptance will be communicated after the completion of the review process.

Publication Fees

Currently, JURNAL TECHNOS NUSANTAR (JTN) does not charge any fees for manuscript submission or publication.
